About the Position:

We're seeking an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to support the development of timely, accurate, and comprehensive electrical estimates for multifamily and commercial projects. This role is instrumental in ensuring successful bids and managing change order processes. Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage the estimating process and timelines to ensure alignment with project deadlines.
  
  
• 
  Communicate with operations teams and clients to define and clarify project scope.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate, organized records of estimates and project changes within the change order pipeline.
  
  
• 
  Analyze and interpret construction drawings (blueprints) and specifications.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and conduct quality overlays, detailed takeoffs, and written estimate narratives.
  
  
• 
  Allocate costs and labor accurately into project budgets.
  
  
• 
  Present completed estimates and proposals to internal teams and external clients.
  
  
• 
  Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior estimating team members.
  
  
• 
  Commit to the demands and learning opportunities of this fast-track position for a minimum of 16 months.
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    5 to 10 years of relevant electrical estimating experience in multifamily and/or commercial construction.
    
    
  • 
    Strong problem-solving skills with a customer service mindset.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    
    
  • 
    Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
    
    
  • 
    High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    
    
  • 
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software (Accubid preferred).
    
    
  •
