Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder (Medical Coding).
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for
coding
Assign codes based on coding guidelines and regulations
Provide education and support to physicians regarding documentation
for accurate coding
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of one coding certification (CPC, CRC, or RHIT)
required
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
necessary
Expertise in encoder software and EMR systems required
