Job Description:
A company is looking for a Denial and Appeal RN
Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the pre-denial, denial, and appeal processes for patient
care
Conduct medical necessity reviews using screening tools to
determine appropriate levels of care
Collaborate with payers to secure authorization for clinical
services
Required Qualifications
Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain
BSN within 4 years
Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in healthcare case
management and patient insurance/billing
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical documentation, medical coding,
and patient billing regulations
Advanced interpersonal skills for effective communication with
healthcare professionals
