Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Government Relations.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute the government affairs strategy, including
legislative and policy agenda
Establish and maintain relationships with key government decision
makers and stakeholders
Manage lobbying and government affairs firms, setting objectives
and monitoring performance
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in public policy, particularly in defense or
space policy
Experience with a US executive branch agency, regulatory agency, or
Congress preferred
Strong relationships with members of Congress and key committee
staff
Ability to operate independently and work within a small team
Energetic self-starter with experience in managing external
relationships
